Once a month, Cafe ZUZU opens its doors to local Regent Park small businesses, entrepreneurs, and organizations to use our event space for FREE!
Whether it's launching your small business or new product, running a symposium or workshop on key topics integral to the community, offering a free art or cultural experience, or even celebrating an organizational milestone with your team, we created the Regent Park Community Event Space Program to help you accomplish your goals.
Once a month on a Monday, Cafe ZUZU will waive the space rental fee for a morning or afternoon time slot for groups and organizations that fall into one (or more!) of the following categories:
~ Women in Leadership
~ Local Arts & Culture
~ Food Security & Sustainability
~ Youth Nutrition Education
Priority will be given to groups, small businesses, and organizations within the Regent Park area, but we do encourage Toronto-based organizations and individuals to apply too.
The goal of the Regent Park Community Program is to assist local community-based organizations by offering our space as a safe gathering place to help you reach your goals and, in turn, support initiatives that help support Regent Park.
Each sponsored event automatically comes with the hospitality Cafe ZUZU is known for:
• A private event space and shared restrooms
• Optional event catering
• Event support prior to the date with a dedicated contact and on-site logistics tour, as needed
• Still and sparkling water station
• Audio visual equipment upon request
• Full cleaning of the space pre- and post-event
Program the event space is located in Cafe ZUZU's restaurant space and has the following capacity options:
Seated Event 80 Guests (including patio)*
Seated Event 65 (excluding patio)
Standing Event 130 Guests (including patio)*
Standing Event 90 Guests (excluding patio)
*Please note: patio space availability is weather-contingent.
Cafe ZUZU offfers food and beverage catering at an additional but reduced cost. Cost is reduced to support the goals of Regent Park Community Program partners.

Please note: As availability for our monthly event space program is on a first come, first served basis, Cafe ZUZU requires event applications to be submitted a minimum of 3 weeks prior to the event date.
