Café ZUZU Pizzeria brings the warmth of Italian hospitality to 555 Dundas Street East. As a versatile Italian café, pizzeria and bar, we serve menus that transition seamlessly from morning coffee to evening pizza and wine. Whether you're looking for a quick cappuccino and pastry or a slow multi-course dinner, our doors are open to serve you.

Back in 1954, Janet Zuccarini's father, Giacomo Zuccarini (pictured here) — the first and second "ZU" in ZUZU — opened Sidewalk Caffè at Yonge and College. A true pioneer, the restaurant introduced Toronto to its first espresso machine, first wood-burning pizza oven, and even the city's first heated patio.

Today, Cafe ZUZU Pizzeria celebrates that same spirit of innovation, family, and great hospitality. Inspired by nostalgic Italian design, ZUZU honours the past while putting its own fresh spin on tradition.

ZUZU's coffee café opened in 2022, followed six months later by the full-service pizzeria. By day, the café buzzes with neighbours, remote workers, and coffee lovers enjoying expertly crafted espresso drinks, fresh sandwiches, and house-made pastries. By night, the space transforms into a lively pizzeria serving 16-inch wood-fired pizzas and Italian family favourites—made with equal parts tradition, creativity, and amore.
